My experience with Amnesty International Senegal this past summer was an amazing journey. The internship made me more knowledgeable about human rights and their violations. By working with remarkable peoples that have ethics and morals to accomplish their daily tasks, I have developed work ethics that I will bring with me in my future career. It is also extremely important to feel at home wherever individuals work and Amnesty International Senegal has included that side in their organizational culture.

As an intern, I had the opportunity to deal with and understand the core of human rights violations in some countries. The tasks I had accomplished while interning were public awareness about human rights violations through programs called Action Day. I also coordinated events which I did not have any experience before and because of Amnesty International Senegal I had the chance to learn how to coordinate an event. I also attended press conferences and met important peoples that are in the field of human rights.

My time with AI Senegal is unforgettable ; I take with me extraordinary souvenirs that I will cherish dearly. I met wonderful peoples with whom I made unbreakable bonds.

My internship showed me the love I have for human rights and it is clearly a path I will consider for my future career.
